Rebel County Candle

The scene of Rebel County is set in Ireland’s county of Cork, which earned its nickname through its defiance against the Vikings and the English. We were inspired to conjure the volatile history of this story and to honour Ireland’s beautiful coastal landscape, brought to life through a warm amber and firesome scent, wild coastal herbs and foaming ozonic notes.

The backstory to this fragrance is Ruth’s Grandmother May, a proud Irishwoman from the city of Cork. Grandmother May would regale tales of resistance and wax lyrical about the history of the municipality to a young and impressionable Ruth, who fondly remembers her contagious laugh, quick-wit and love of idioms…. In her own words she could talk ‘nineteen to the dozen’!

Fragrant memories of burning peat, coastal walks discovering driftwood and the sea’s treasures, bright sunsets and trips to the pier are revived in Rebel County.
  • For the best burning experience, trim candle wick to a ¼ inch before each use.
  • The first burn of a candle should be long enough for the entire top layer of wax to liquify. This will ensure an even burn for each light.
  • Don't burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Never leave a candle burning unattended, or in reach of children or pets.
  • Protect the surface underneath the candle
Burn time approximately 50 hours.

Top Notes: Lemon Balm, Wild Herbs
Heart Notes: Hot Amber
Base Notes: Driftwood, Irish Oak, White Musk
