Lychee

The lychee, or litchi fruit, is a popular note in fruity floral compositions, where it pairs naturally well with rose and peony in particular. Its aroma is slightly rose-like, but sweeter and with a hint of vanilla.

A lychee note can be composed by using compounds found in rose as well as a few other commonly used perfumery materials.
