A warm, resinous scent which is redolent and calming. Red Cedar is great for creating a soothing sense of tranquility.
Found on the windswept and remote coastal islands to the south eastern seas of Korea, this unique wood was once collected to the point of becoming a threatened species. Now protected, the slow growing Cedar endemic to the island is now strictly regulated and no longer available for harvest.
Made from a stockpile of old wood, harvested decades earlier and stored for years by the monastery that makes our incense.
