Frankenstein Candle

This literary candle has been inspired by a masterpiece of suspension and the actual prototype of the science fiction genre.

Frankenstein or the Modern Prometheus was written in the Swiss Alps by an eighteen-year-old Mary Shelley. It became an instant bestseller in an anonymous publication in 1818.

This 1886 book cover with an introduction by the Rev H R Hawels, a Victorian Priest, who wasn't in awe by the core of the book, but appreciated "subtle analysis of "moods". Haweis also felt that Christianity and spiritualism were compatible, and attended séances himself.

The Fallen Angel scent is earthy and dark, yet fresh and invigorating. There are notes of Bergamot, Oakmoss, Camphor, Cedar, and amber. “Remember that I am thy creature; I ought to to be thy Adam, but I am rather the fallen angel, whom thou drivest from joy for no misdeed”.

  • For the best burning experience, trim candle wick to a ¼ inch before each use.
  • The first burn of a candle should be long enough for the entire top layer of wax to liquify. This will ensure an even burn for each light.
  • Don't burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Never leave a candle burning unattended, or in reach of children or pets.
  • Protect the surface underneath the candle
