Christmas Carol Candle

This book candle is a must-have for every reader for one simple reason: A Christmas Carol is the most important Christmas book.

Charles Dickens wrote A Christmas Carol during a period when the British were exploring and re-evaluating past Holiday traditions, including carols, and newer customs such as Christmas trees. The story captured the mood of the mid-Victorian revival of the Christmas holiday.

Published on December 19th, the first edition sold out by Christmas Eve; by the end of 1844 thirteen editions had been released. A Christmas Carol has never been out of print.

Dickens had acknowledged the influence of the modern Western observance of Christmas and later inspired several aspects of Christmas, including family gatherings, seasonal food and drink, dancing, games, and a festive generosity of spirit.

Our Christmas Carol scented book candle smells just like that: orange and cinnamon spice notes from the kitchen, fir and pine notes from the Christmas tree, and an earthy smokiness from the fireplace.

High-quality soy wax with cotton wick.
  • For the best burning experience, trim candle wick to a ¼ inch before each use.
  • The first burn of a candle should be long enough for the entire top layer of wax to liquify. This will ensure an even burn for each light.
  • Don't burn your candle for more than 4 hours at a time. Never leave a candle burning unattended, or in reach of children or pets.
  • Protect the surface underneath the candle
Burn time: Approximately 40 hours
