The cool, aristocratic smell of iris and violet flowers are here set alight in Iris Cendre, which is a fragrance of dramatic manner, making it unmistakable. Paradoxically fresh yet bone dry, this contrast is brought to the fore and sapped of any remaining moisture, drawn out with the cleansing translucent smoke of incense. The result is a sophisticated feeling of utter desiccation - but this is anything but unapproachable.

Iris, with its often icy visage, is now warmed from the inside out, with a smouldering heart of amber and smoke tones, refreshed with the faintest touch of mandarin citrus. Iris Cendre becomes a garment of a most sophisticated cut, like delicate silk treated with unprecedented force, revealing surprising strength and vigour in spite of its tenderness.
