Jacques Fath

Le Loden

Smooth | Vetiver | Patchouli

Jacques Fath liked to wear a Loden trenchcoat, emblematic of this period and usually in dark green colour. He also used this particular, warm and strong woollen fabric to create dresses.

The perfumer has recreated this contrasted sensation, both bristly and protective by using vetiver, a root with a very intense and solid woody character. It is a symbol of tenacity like the Loden.

So a surprising and vibrant fresh Ginger, with sparkling Green Mandarin, Haiti Vetiver and Pink Pepper open the fragrance. These prickly notes play with spicy and dark Juniper berries, beating to the rhythm of Java Vetiver and Tobacco notes and sweetness of Raspberry leaf absolute, finally succumbing to the deep embrace of Patchouli.

Top Notes: Green Mandarin, Vetiver, Ginger, Pink Pepper
Heart Notes: Geranium, Vetiver, Raspberry Leaf, Juniper
Base Notes: Ylang-Ylang, Vetiver, Tobacco, Patchouli

Perfumer: Luca Maffei
