Founded in 1827 by François-Étienne Violet, the House has marked the French industry of perfumery and cosmetics. Reputed for its know-how and holder of several patents, the company obtained various awards during its existence that accentuated its reputation. By conquering new markets, the Paris-based brand spread the French signature far beyond its borders.
It was in 1842 that VIOLET officially became the supplier of Empress Eugenie and Queen Isabella II of Spain.
It was on the benches of the École Supérieure du Parfum that Anthony, Paul and Victorien decided to restore an old French perfume factory. Becoming the successors of VIOLET in 2017, these 3 creators set about reviving the name. Their different profiles are driven by the same passion for perfume and history. Friends and colleagues, their common ambition is to rebuild a modern brand with respect for the past.
Today, it is together that they wish to put VIOLET back in the spotlight.
