JMP Artisan Perfumes is a private project of the Polish independent perfumer Jakub Pietrynka. The fragrances he creates are inspired by the traditional French perfumery styles, as well as his love of fragrance experiments.
The idea of the brand he created is to oppose the commercialization that sweeps the world of perfumes. Aromatic compositions are treated as art sealed in bottles. JMP Artisan Perfumes assumes that fragrances are interpretable, just like works of art. The belief that different areas of artistic creation interact with each other has led to the connection of perfumery with other types of art.
The first fragrance line is the Duftart Collection. Fragrances were interpreted into paintings by Justyna Neyman, the precursor of the Duftart trend in Poland.
