Delire de Voyage
Délire de Voyage represents perfumery at its most evocative. A delirious stirring which disrupts and disturbs our normal patterns of behaviour - moving us, setting us on unexpected voyages.
In this light, the unanticipated advent of disaster can be understood as a ‘délire de voyage’, and in this range, Italian perfumer Filippo Sorcinelli synaesthetically represents the disasters that have indelibly shaken humankind: the Marche earthquakes of 2016 and 2017 in Epicentro, and the Notre-Dame fire of 2019.
Sublime works of art, they represent not only a literal interpretation of the smells of the events, but speak to our inner emotions - fear, terror, shock, and disbelief. Total art objects, the packaging represents Sorcinelli’s characteristic multi-modal artistic mantra: from concept, bottle, packaging, all the way to the scent.
